Callbacks: Aug 3-5
Performances: Nov 7-24

Be a part of the The WSSR’s first show in our new performance space!

Ten explorers. Four boats. One Grand Canyon! MEN ON BOATS tells the true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition, when a one-armed captain and a crew of insane yet loyal volunteers set out to chart the course of the Colorado River. This play is a superfun action/adventure comedy that skewers the stereotype of white male explorers-- performed entirely by those who are not!

CASTING: 10 Racially Diverse Actors: Women, Female Identifying, Trans, Fluid, Gender Non-Conforming

PLAYWRIGHTS NOTE: The characters in Men On Boats were historically cisgender white males-- the cast should be made up entirely of people who are not: racially diverse actors who are female identifying, trans-identifying, genderfluid, and/or non-gender conforming.
